JACK Smith and Nigel Vince have become the latest recruits at Tattershall Road.
The pair have both agreed to join up with Boston Town for the upcoming campaign.
Central defender Smith spent last campaign with UCL Premier rivals Holbeach United and Boston Saturday League outfit Freiston.
“He’s really determined and he’s got physical strength and presence,” said manager Martyn Lakin.
The Poachers boss has also added ex-Cambridge United pro Vince to his squad.
Lakin said he was looking for some experienced heads to compliment his young playing staff.
“He’s another local chap, and he’s been with Spalding, Holbeach and Wisbech, where he’s had experience of winning league titles with them,” Lakin added.
At 40, Vince - who has previously turned out for the Poachers, and Wyberton in the Lincs League - may be something of a veteran, but he is still four years younger than Town striker Gary Bull.
Town host Grimsby Borough tonight (KO 7.45pm), Pinchbeck on Saturday (3pm) and Skegness Town on Tuesday (7.45pm)
