TONY Edwards continued his goalscoring return as Boston United Reserves defeated derby rivals Swineshead Institute.
Edwards has marked his return from suspension by netting in all three of his matches since his ban ended.
Tom sergeant, who can match Edwards’ record, was also on target in a 2-0 victory.
The Pilgrims included a handful of first teamers in their side, including player-boss Lee Canoville, returning from injury, Ben Milnes and Danny Sleath.
Trialist Jason Stokes also made an appearance.
Sergeant opened the scoring after being played through by Sleath, before Edwards finished off a move he started himself to double the advantage.
Both keepers made fine saves, with Boston’s Ricky Drury denying Karl Melton and Swineshead’s Brad Murrell (pictured inset) blocking efforts from Edwards and Canoville.
