TEAMWORK is the key to a good run in the FA Vase, says Boston Town boss Matt Hocking.

The Poachers joint-manager is hoping to guide his side to victory over Harborough Town on Saturday (KO 3pm).

“It’s a big game for us,” Hocking told The Standard.

“For the players it’s important we can go on a good run, and for the club there are financial rewards.

“It’s a game that will pull us all together, and that’s what we need to do.”

The Poachers and Harborough are rivals in the United Counties League Premier Division.

At present, Town sit seventh in the table, boosted by Wednesday’s 2-0 success at Blackstones.

Harborough are currently second bottom, with one point from four matches to date.

On Tuesday they were thumped 7-1 at Cogenhoe, where Town recently drew 4-4.

However, form could go out the window on Saturday when the two opponents meet in cup competition.

Town beat Loughborough University 4-3 in the last round of the competition.
