Curtis Yeatman struck twice as Wyberton moved to the top of the Sills and Betteridge Lincolnshire League.

Gary Frost’s side recorded a 2-1 victory at Nettleham, who sit in the lower half of the table, on Saturday.

The three points was enough for Wyberton to leapfrog previous leaders Skegness Town, whose game was postponed.

Wyberton are now two points clear of Horncastle Town, who moved up to second in the table following their victory at the weekend.

However, Horncastle and Skegness Town, who also trail by two points, both have five matches in hand.

Wyberton are now looking to consolidate top spot this weekend by winning at Market Rasen Town, who sit in 11th with three victories to date this season.
