Freiston, Leake and Leverton CC sit top of the South Lincs and Border League Division Two following an up-and-down weekend.
On Saturday the side beat Burgh, before Sunday’s heavy defeat to Claypole.
A strong bowling performance from Freiston saw them dismiss visitors Burgh for only 65.
Skipper Ollie Booth claimed the first two wickets while new-ball partner Tommy Atkinson also claimed two wickets, as did Michael Burman.
Burman’s victims included top scorer Philip Sharp (17), who was well caught by Connor Goodfellow.
John Goodfellow picked up three wickets, while Graham Kirtley also claimed a victim.
It took Freiston 16 overs to post 66-1 and earn their nine wicket victory.
Waseem Ilyas (34 not out) top scored, with Rob Sexton adding an unbeaten 18.
A day later Freiston LL lost by 135 runs against Claypole.
Bowling first, Ollie Booth and Tommy Atkinson posed some testing early questions for the batsman.
However, Matt Ragless (33) and Steven Ryder (56) put on 73 for the first wicket.
Freiston weren’t able to stem the flow of runs and weren’t helped by a host of fielding errors.
Darren Tate claimed three wickets for Freiston while there were two apiece for Booth and Yasir Tanoli, but Claypole posted 251 before being dismissed.
With the bat Freiston lost crucial early wickets.
Zeeshan Saeed made an impressive 63, but only he and Richard Paul (15) made it into double figures.
But a host of poor shots and good bowling, including five wickets for Endley, meant Freiston fell well short of their target, dismissed for 116.
