Kickboxer Nesta Baxter returned from the European Cup with two gold medals.
The 15-year-old also added a silver and a bronze to her medal tally in Karlovac, Croatia.
Nesta, who fights for WAKO Team GB, began her campaign with the Girls’ Grand Champion points fighting category.
The Bostonian met an Italian opponent in the final.
And despite the contest offering very close competition, Nesta had to take the silver medal this time.
The points fighting events saw Nesta fight in the -55kg girls’ older cadet (13-15 years) category.
After fighting competitors from France, Italy and Croatia, Nesta had a tough semi-final against a Hungarian fighter.
Her opponent proved too strong and Nesta came away with a bronze medal.
However, the final day of competition saw Nesta scoop two golds.
She was competing in the -55kg older cadet (13-15 years) continuous and -55kg junior (16-18 years) continuous sections.
Nesta fought brilliantly in these categories after fighting athletes from countries such as Slovakia, Austria, Croatia, Italy and Poland, winning both categories with some outstanding performances.
It was a brilliant weekend for Nesta and she now looks forward to her next international competition, the Irish Open in Dublin.
