Coupland set for Algarve action

With the European Challenge Tour campaign not starting until the Kenya Open on March 17 - a long break from the end of last season - the Boston Golf Club member has decided to play a couple of events on the Algarve and take the opportunity of practising in some warm and less windy conditions.

He is playing the Boavista Classic, which runs on Friday and Saturday.

This will be followed by the Onyria Palmares Classic, beginning on Monday and continuing on Tuesday.

Dave (pictured) is currently looking for sponsorship to support him throughout his season in Europe’s second tier.

Travelling to and from tournaments throughout Europe and beyond adds up.

However, Dave has also learned that there will be a Challenge Tour event in England this year after several years without one.

As there are already tournaments in Scotland and Northern Ireland, it has to be good news for UK sponsors who wish for their logo to be seen in the home nations.
