Trio claim yellowball stableford success

Seven teams of three played a yellow ball stableford competition over 10 holes in Boston Golf Club's Ladies' Section.

Winning this week were Ruth Simpson, Yvonne Wright and Joan Young with 47 stableford points.

In second place with 40 points were Jacquie Short, Jean Markham and Pat Clifton.

Third place went to Kath Yates, Chris Sherriff and Pam King on 39 points.

Graham Tillman won the Sunday Stableford at Boston Golf Club.

The event was played off a full handicap, and he came out on top with a score of 40 points.

The 0-12 winner was Nev Kemp with 36 points and the 13-28 winner was Chris Runnalls with 35 points.

Last week’ report named Fran Grant as the club’s Lady President.
