Boston Criket Club’s Sunday Seconds earned a 15-run victory against Scothern in the Lincoln and District League Division One.
Boston batted first and openers Kieran Evans (35) and Matthew Hood (14) both reached double figures before being dismissed by Billy Truswell, a catch from James Drabble dismissing Evans.
Matthew Poole was dismissed without scoring, but 17 runs from Peter Mitchell, and a further 22 from Luke Gilding helped Boston on their way to the winning total of 108, before the Mayflower men were dismissed in the 40th over.
John Drabble and Richard Johnson both took three wickets for the hosts, with Jack Lawson and Truswell both claiming two scalps.
With the ball, Boston began dimsmissing their hosts.
Sam Bullivant (27), Johnny Drabble (17) and Liam Harris (16) were the only Scothern players to reach double figures .
The home side were all out for 93 runs with less than 37 overs played.
Tim Bell led the way for the Boston bowlers, claiming four wickets for the loss of 28 runs from his 10 overs.
Andy Hewitt (1-10-10), Tom Baxter (1-20-10) and Ben Troops (1-21-4) also did the business with the ball, as Boston endeed a fristrating weekend with a victory.
