Grant strikes an unbeaten 167 as Friskney CC power past Spalding Seconds

Friskney Cricket Club Firsts earned a massive 213-run victory over Spalding Seconds on Saturday.

Competing in the South Lincs and Border League Division One, the hosts posted 337-7, with Rob Grant scoring an unbeaten 167.

Grant hit 21 fours and six sixes, and was backed up by Mitch Griffiths (61), Michael Troops (37), Jack Ashton (17), Tim Bell (16) and Ben Troops (14).

Spalding were dismissed for 124 in the 35th over.

Ben Troops claimed five wickets for the loss of 32 runs, with other wickets taken by Michael Troops (three), Nick Snell and Guy Elsam.
