Friskney Cricket Club were beaten by nine wickets when they played host to Spalding CC Seconds on Saturday.

Friskney opener Rob Grant scored 21 runs before he was caught by Matthew Sharpe off Sanjeet Tott’s delivery.

And from that point on, things went downhill for the home side in this South Lincs and Border League Division One encounter.

No other batsman reached double figures, with five being dismissed without scoring as 10-man Friskney were all out for 38.

Spalding reached their winning total of 41-1 by the second ball of the 10th over.

George Danby took the only wicket for Friskney.
