Boston Hockey Club Ladies’ match at Lincoln Roses Seconds fell foul of the weather.

Boston were due to travel to the county capital on Saturday, but a frozen pitch means the match will have to be re-arranged.

This Saturday, Boston host Alford Seconds (1pm) on the Rosebery Avenue Astroturf.

Boston are in fine form in the Lincolnshire Ladies’ League.

They have won their last two matches - 5-1 against Louth Seconds and 4-0 at the expense of Long Sutton Seconds.

To date, they have won eight of their 11 fixtures.
