Ladies hockey: Boston 1 Horncastle 1sts 3

Boston Ladies were finally back in action this weekend,at Gleed Boys School, Spalding.

Great play from Boston saw a pass find Katie Beeson, who drove took the shot on and slotted the ball home.

Then Horncastle broke and it wasn’t long until they’d equalised with a well taken goal.

After half-time Sophie Vaughan made some great saves along with Claire Nundy, Petra Wood and Lisa Ceaser, with the help of Beeson, but Horncastle broke once more and scored their second to take the lead.

Boston were caught off guard towards the end of the game when a Horncastle player scored the third goal.

Players’ player was Lauren Harvey.
