Kickboxer Keely Manning is looking forward to pitting her wits against some of the globe’s top talents at the World Martial Arts Committee’s World Games.
The 15-year-old will compete in Norwich this August after being selected for place in the Great Britain squad.
More than 900 martial artists from all over the planet will be arriving at the University of East Anglia, each with their sights set on winning gold.
For Keely, a black belt second dan who trains monthly with the GB squad, it will be the natural progression after winning the WMO British under 16s advanced title in Rugby recently.
She is also the reigning WKC European champion, following success in Manchester last year.
Keely has been kickboxing for 10 years, and trains at Boston’s Pride Martial Arts School.
She also trains at a numbber of other centres around the county.
