Kickboxers collect a series of medals in Bristol and Dorking

Members of Boston’s Evolution Martial Arts have been in the medals at the WAKO Bristol Open International Kickboxing competition.

Competing against rivals from nations such as Hungary, Italy, Ireland, the USA, Croatia, Greece and Germany were Nesta Baxter, Archie Lenton, Riley Brocklesby and Jack Dickinson.

Nesta, a current European champion, won the -55kg girls’ older cadet continuous category.

Archie and Riley both fought in the seven-eight years open weight section, putting in some outstanding performances to finish in second and third respectively.

In the points fighting events, Nesta claimed two bronzes, in the older cadet and 16-18 years sections.

Riley also finished with a bronze in his category while Archie and Jack both fought well.

Team Evolution fighters also attended the CIMAC Dorking Open.

The team came home with two golds, two silvers and a bronze.

Josh Talbot won both of his sections to give him two of titles, while Chelsea Leggatt and Kev Hunter both returned with a silver medal after loosing out in close finals.

Riley Brocklesby achieved a bronze after some great fighting, while Zac Baldry received a runner-up award.
