Kickboxers from Evolution Martial Arts returned from the CIMAC UK Open with six podium places.

The event, held at Windsor, is part of the CIMAC Super A League event which takes place throughout the year.

Nesta Baxter, 16, competed in four divisions at this year’s CIMAC UK Open.

Nesta’s first category was the Girls’ -56kg Light Continuous, where she claimed her first gold trophy of the day.

This was followed by silver in the Girls’ -56kg Point Fighting, missing out on first by a point.

Nesta then stepped up into the Senior Ladies’ Light Continuous category, winning her second gold, claiming her third win in the Senior Ladies’ Point Fighting section.

Chelsea Leggatt, 16, fought in the Girls’ +56kg Light Continuous and missed out on the top spot to a tough opponent in the final.

She also fought in the Girls’ +56kg Point Fighting, claiming a second silver.

Seventeen-year-old Rhys Coleman finished third in the Men’s -70kg Point Fighting Division in his first competition for Evolution, after almost a year away from the sport.

Kev Hunter and Mark Baldry, who will both be fighting as part of Team Great Britain at next month’s WAKO Senior European Championships in Slovenia, fought in the Men’s +80kg Light Continuous category.

Riley Brocklesby, nine, fought in the -28kg Boys’ Point Fighting and Light Continuous.

Mackenzie Warrant, 10, fought in the -32kg Boys’ Point Fighting and Light Continuous.

Zac Baldry, 13, fought in the Boys’ -47kg Point Fighting division, coming away with fourth.

Nesta Baxter and Rhys Coleman will both be representing Evolution Martial Arts at the upcoming Flanders International Kickboxing Cup in Belgium.

The two fighters are looking forward to competing on the international circuit against some top class European athletes.
