More people in Lincolnshire are taking part in sport, according the the annual Active People Survey.
A total of 33.7 per cent of adults (aged 16 plus) in Lincolnshire are now taking part in at least one sports session per week.
The 1.7 per cent increase from last year’s survey shows a rise of 10,000 people taking part in sport and activity in the last 12 months.
The survey shows that cycling (200,800 rise) and athletics (134,000) are among the fastest-growing sports.
Meanwhile, judo, hockey and swimming are also enjoying an upsurge in popularity in the county.
