THIS Saturday will mark 200 days until the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Boston has some involvement with the Games as the Princess Royal Sports Arena will be used as a training base for Egyptian athletes ahead of the event.
But now you can get involved as well.
Lincolnshire Sports Partnership is encouraging people to sign up to Quest for Gold to celebrate the milestone event, and try Paralympic sports such as boccia, wheelchair tennis or sitting volleyball.
Janet Inman, chief executive of Lincolnshire Sports Partnership, said: “Quest for Gold is a great opportunity to try all the Olympic and Paralympic sports in the run up to the London 2012 Games.
“To celebrate this milestone, we want as many people as possible to sign up to Quest for Gold and try a new sport they may have never tried before.”
Quest for Gold launched last year, and now has more than 100 members trying different sports across the county.
Lincolnshire sports clubs offer free taster sessions to anyone signed up on the programme,
For a sign-up fee of £5, anyone can try any of the 33 sports for free.
