Millson wants to earn Boston United first trophy of the season
Tuesday, 1pm - ADAM Millson is eyeing up silverware as Boston United travel to face Grantham Town in the final of the Lincs Senior Shield.
The 20-year-old Pilgrims midfielder is hoping to be granted just his second start of the season at the Meeres Stadium tonight (KO 7.45pm).
After a frustrating season of rehabilitation, Millson believes he is now fully recovered from the broken leg he suffered against Nantwich last campaign.
After making his only start of the season in the UniBond Challenge Cup, a 2-1 win against Hucknall, Millson hopes he could be granted a start as his managers could rest some of their first-choice XI for the weekend.
"I've not had a lot of football this season but I'm feeling ready now," Millson said.
"I've mainly played in the cups so far so I'm hoping I can play against Grantham tonight.
"It's a competition we want to win."
Manager Paul Hurst added: "We want to win every game. Our focus is completely on the Grantham game.
"When you're on a run like ours you don't want it to end."
