A fine 89 from Peter Mitchell inspired Boston Cricket Club’s Second XI to a 33-run victory over Spalding Seconds.
Fellow opener Dave Gilding also played a big part in the Mayflower men’s victory as he chalked up 60 runs.
Both Boston batsmen were dimissed by Spalding bowler Jim Clarke, who took four wickets.
But Gareth Epton chipped in with 34 runs to help the hosts finish their 45 overs on 211-5.
With the bat, Clarke didn’t prove as effective, caught by Epton off Lewis Holmes for eight.
Holmes went on to take three wickets, and Sam Gilding two.
Shaun Moore also claimed two victims, while Charlie Ward, Callum Moses and Epton also took wickets.
Sanjeet Tott (50), Tom Dale (45) and Lee Eyett (34) gave Spalding some hope, but they were eventually bowled out for 178.
Boston’s Sunday Seconds beat Middle Rasen by 30 runs in the Lincoln and District League Division One.
Luke Gilding’s 61 helped Boston to 205, with Rasen totalling 175-7.
