Wyberton-based G&S racing Kawasaki will race on home tarmac over the Bank Holiday weekend when they travel to Cadwell Park for round eight of the British Superbike championship.

Dominic Usher and Tom Fisher will race in the National Superstock 1000 class, while Kevin Van Leuven will contest the Stock 600.

On the back of a strong race at Oulton Park in the last round of the series, Usher will be seeking more of the same at Cadwell to boost his points tally, while Fisher will be hoping to progress into the top 20 when he races at one of his favourite circuits.

Van Leuven is eagerly anticipating the Cadwell round as he can’t wait to have a crack at the famous mountain section of the course.

He was at the meeting last year, as a spectator, and this is when he secured the ride with the G&S team.

Watching the riders fly over the mountain made his mind up to join a British team so that this year he can go out there and ride it himself.

Saturday and Sunday include free practice and qualifying, while Monday is race day.
