A superior world-first for AJ Dance

A Boston-based dance school is has achieved world-wide recognition for its pupils’ talents in an international exam. 
Thirty-eight students from AJ Dance are some of the first in the UK to be entered for acrobatic arts examinations.

The dance syllabus, which helps students to develop strength, balance, flexibility, limbering and tumbling skills, is sweeping through Canada, the USA and now the UK.

All 38 dancers, aged five to 21, scored the highest mark of superior – gaining between 135 and 149 marks out of 150.

AJ Dance is the first dance studio in the world to receive all superiors on a set of exams – to the delight of its staff.

The dance school’s vice-principal Josie said: “I’m over the moon.

“These results are phenomenal and show what fabulous dancers and teachers we have in our school.
