In the battle at the top of Division Two of the Boston and District table Tennis League, leaders Graves Park D beat second-placed Sibsey C 6-4.

Mat Lilley and Paul Matschcull both won braces for the Park, while Mick Dodes and the doubles completed the scoring.

Roger Hooten won his three for Sibsey and Dave Smith also beat Dodes.

Wrangle B beat Graves park Nomads 9-1.

Den Pattrick and Tim Sampson won their three while Tony Hall had to settle for two as Chips Davy saved the whitewash.

Boyd Smith was top-scorer for Lodgers C when Graves Park E were the visitors, but it was the Park who won 7-3.

Smith won two, with Vic Clements adding the third point.

The Park’s matchwinners were Andy Gilbert (three), Pete Bell (two), Adam Bell and the doubles.

Lodgers H beat Belchford 7-3.

Simon Raistrick (three), Gavin Read (two) and Scott Raistrick (two) settled the contest, while Belchford replied through Jon Newby, Andrew Pocklington and the doubles.
