Dave Coupland’s hectic schedule on the European Challenge Tour continued this week, with the Boston golfer picking up yet another cheque.
Coupland was competing in the D+D Real Czech Challenge, at the Golf and Spa Kuneticka Hora in Dritec.
He finished one under par to share 53rd place with Australia’s Scott Arnold, Jens Fahrbring, of Sweden, Irishman Niall Kearney and fellow Brits Raymond Russell and Jamie Rutherford.
Each of those competitors left 578 Euros better off.
Frenchman Thomas Linard (-19) was the tournament champion.
Coupland recorded a one-over-par round of 73 on Thursday in Czech Republic.
But Friday’s score of 71 was enough for him to make the cut.
His best round of 70 followed on Saturday, before another 73 on Sunday followed.
This year is Coupland’s first on the Challenge Tour, European golf’s second tier.
The next round will be the Fred Olsen Challenge de Espana which will be held at La Gomera on the Canary Islands, beginning tomorrow.
