Anthony Hulley and Zach McDonnell-Woods won Boston Tennis Club’s Wilkinson Cup after a close-fought final against David Cheer and Sam Felipes.
The fifth annual event was held on Saturday, with the tournament played on the basis that in every round a draw is made for partners and after that each player attempts to accumulate as many games as possible in order to progress to the quarter finals.
Competition was once again fierce for those desired places in the last rounds.
The A final between David Cheer, Anthony Hulley, Zach McDonnell-Woods and Sam Felipes was a really great match for the spectators.
It was close throughout with little separating the players.
The B final was contested between Richard Woods, Diane Sharpe, Peter Waterfall and Richard McDonnell-Woods with Toby McDonnell-Woods and Richard Woods emerging as the winners.
Terry and Kay Wilkinson presented the Wilkinson Cup to the winners and prizes to the runners-up.
