JOSE Ferreira was first home in the first-ever three-mile multi-terrain fun run, organised at the annual Brothertoft Fete on Saturday afternoon.

A wide-ranging group of runners and joggers completed the three mile route along tracks and footpaths adjacent to the Brothertoft Fete venue.

Second home was Aidan McClure, ahead of Emma Penniston, with a number of young runners completing the route in fairly quick succession after the adults. Hermione Wright headed the youngsters, with William Wright, Ryan Wonnacott, David Scott and Jessica Ward all qualifying for their medals at the finish.
