Boston Badminton Club have won both the Men’s Divison One and Men’s Division Two league titles this season.

The A team won the Division One title, winning it back from last year’s winners Stickney A.

The Boston team were unbeaten throughout the season.

The head-to-head matches against Stickney were the deciding factor in where the title would go this season.

And Boston A won both home and away fixtures 6-3, ensuring the championship.

Boston were also pushed hard by Swineshead, but they secured victories of 6-3 and 5-4.

Meanwhile, the Boston B team have been promoted from Division Two, after finishing top of the pile.

They will replace Spalding who have been relegated from the top flight.

They were also pushed hard, and only just pipped Horncastle to the title.

This was due to Horncastle winning both of the head-to-head matches 6-3.

However, Horncastle slipped up in other contests and Boston B did enough to claim first place.

Boston C finished bottom of Divison Two.

The side mainly features junior players who are building up their experience.

Anyone wishing to play at the club are welcome to attend on Wednesday nights at the Peter Paine Sports Centre between 7pm and 10pm.
