Beesley breezes to clay court double at Boston Tennis Club

Dominic Beesley won the men’s singles clay tournament held at Boston Tennis Club.

He beat clubmate Lewis Fisher to win the grade three tournament.

Dominic also won the under 18 boys’ singles, beating his brother Henry in the final.

There were also good performances from other Boston club members.

Joe Woolley won the boys’ under 16s and Matthew Gedney was victorious in the boys’ under 10s.

William Cheer was the runner-up in a very close under eights event.

Emma Mastin (ladies) and Dana Kenneally-Forrester (under 14s) reached the semis.

Boston Tennis Club’s Ladies’ Fifth team - Lucy Hull, Victoria Beardsley, Jayne Walsh, Jessica Frankish, Tricia Sweeney and Frances Keane - won 7-2 against Spalding in Division 3B of the Lincolnshire Slazenger Doubles League.

Boston’s Men’s Fifths beat Sleaford Seconds 6-3 in the men’s Division 3B.

The team was Sam Felipes, Jamie Woods, Sev Smura, Peter Elphick, Michal Chmielik and Richard Tupper.
