Booth seals darts league title in debut season

Joby Booth has sealed the Friday Night Darts League’s BSC Premiership title in his first season.

He became champion after a good 4-2 win against Dave Hasnip. Dave picked off a 180 and had 17 and 13 dart legs, but Joby had 16 and 17 darts legs too and was more consistent in the others.

Ady Parker took on Dan Flynn in a tight match that went all the way to a seventh and deciding leg. Dan hit a 180 and edged it 4-3.

Dan Flynn returned to the oche to face Chris Royal. Chris was very consistent and checked very well to win 4-0.

In the Pizza Perfection Championship, Jamie Barnes claimed the the title with victory against Mick Flynn, winning 4-0. Leg two saw Jamie produce brilliant darts for a 13-legger, 140, 52, 140, 137 and 32 as he won the title by four points.

Darren Emmerson took second spot with 84 points, in his first season in the league, beating Pete Grooby on leg difference.

Kev Lenton finished fourth on 83 points.
