Boston athletes compete at Anglian Schools Track and Field Championships

Boston-area athletes represented Lincolnshire in the annual Anglian Schools Track and Field Championships at Norwich Sportpark on Saturday.

In the senior boys’ inter-county competition, Diago Egas won the javelin (34.24m PB), came second in the discus (22.26m) and claimed third in high jump (1.65m).

Intermediate Frances Nuttell was fourth in high jump (1.45m) and fifth in the 80m hurdles (13.5 secs) before running the lead leg for Lincs in the 4 100m relay team, which finished fourth (54.2 secs).

Harry Limb recorded a personal best 23.8 secs for third in the 200m in the junior boys’ age group, while Blake Garwell also clocked a PB of 4 mins 38.1 secs for third in the 1,500m.
