Boston fancier takes top spot in racing pigeons from Malton

Dariusz Pelka had the fastest bird into town when racing pigeon fanciers were competing from Malton on Saturday.

He also took third place in Boston Central RPC, while in-form Tim Appleby was second.

In Boston and District Flying Club successful long-standing fancier Dave Brackenbury scored a 1-2-3.

Local members of the North Road Championship Club were also competing from Fraserburgh but, because this hard race went into the second day, the result had not been completed in time for publication.

Tim Appleby maintained his recent good form when he won Boston Central RPC’s race from Newton Aycliffe with a pigeon that was also the best in the Peterborough and District Federation.
