Boston Hockey Club Men are hoping victory over Ely City Thirds today will send them top of the league.

The second-placed Sportsman side host their rivals in the Eastern Hockey League Division 5NW.

Last week’s 2-0 victory over table-topping Louth reduced the gap at the head of the table to two points.

And in the leaders slip up, Boston are hoping to capitalise.

Meanwhile, a brace from Cameron Salisbury could see his tally for the season reach the 30-goal mark.

Boston won 5-2 at Ely earlier in the season.
