Boston Hockey Club’s Ladies are desperate to get back on the scoresheet.

The side host Spalding Seconds in their Eastern League Division 3NW clash today (11am).

It has been four weeks since the ladies last scored a goal, albeit through no fault of their own.

Two blank weeks - with a goalless draw against Skegness sandwiched in the middle - means the last time they netted was during the 3-1 success at Long Sutton Seconds on November 2.

On that occasion captain Katie Beeson scored twice and Laura Panton was also on target.

Meanwhile, the Men’s team want to stretch their unbeaten sequence to seven matches in Division 6NW.

Boston - who beat Spalding Fifths 2-0 at the weekend - travel to face Grantham Firsts, having won five and drawn one of their past six contests, scoring 26 times along the way.

Push back is at 2pm.
