BOSTON’S Judo Club has received £500 from Boston Mayflower, as part of the housing association’s Community Champions awards scheme.

The money will be used to buy 25 new judo outfits of various sizes to get interested young people involved in the sport.

Schoolchildren can then borrow these outfits, featuring Boston Mayflower’s logo, and take part in the sport.

Boston Mayflower Community Development Officer Paul Kenny said: “We were delighted to support the Boston Judo Club.

“We welcome young people in the town being given an excellent opportunity to get involved in something like judo.
