Boston Mixed 1 just beat Boston Mixed 4 5-4 in a very close League match.

Geoff Presland, Jenny McGarel, Ryan Frankish, Ashleigh Frankish, Fred Calvert and Emma Mastin edged past Zach McDonnell-Woods, Sophie Walsh, David Cheer, Jayne Walsh, Toby McDonnell-Woods and Lucy Hull.

Boston Mixed 3 beat Boston Mixed 2 7-2 as Sam Felipes, Jane Hindmarch, James Newton, Mary Smura, Ray Frankish and Helen Cook were victorious against Jeremy George-Jones, Sue Burnett, David Dunlop, Sophie Hawkesworth, Simon Beardsley and Penny Gibbons

In the Aegon Team Tennis competition, Boston’s mini red teams met one another.

Boston A’s Lois Boothby, Isabel Wookey, James Gedney and Juan Advani won 13-3 Boston B’s Joshua Brooks, Jacob Felipes, Emily Stukins and James Burrell, winning the division and booking their place in the county final.

In the Slazenger Lincolnshire Doubles League, Boston Men’s Thirds lost 6-3 at Burton Waters. Zach McDonnell-Woods, Courtney George-Jones, Harry Foster, Toby McDonnell-Woods, Doug Motson and Richard Woods represented Boston

In Division Three, Boston Men’s Fifths - Andy Clamp, Jaimie Woods, Lucas East, David Makins, Michal Chmielik and Thomas Cozens - lost 9-0 to Bourne.

Boston’s Men’s Sixths - Robert Smith, Bill Burnett, Alan Saxton, Joseph Parla, Terry Mastin and Lewis Wyatt - lost 8-1 to Woodhall Spa.
