BOSTON West Golf Club’s seniors travelled to Seacroft, Skegness, and were firmly beaten 6.5-1.5.
The point earners were winners Trevor Morriss and Andy Frankowski, while Brian Featherstone and John Pattenden halved their match.
Boston West Seniors were beaten 7-2 away at Blankney.
Mike McPhail with David Brown and Geoff Upsall with Eddie Hunt both halved their matches. The only winning team was Brian Featherstone and Barrie Wilkinson.
A home match with Toft saw Boston West seniors winning 4.5-3.5. Winners were Jim Weight and Gerald Green, Brian Featherstone and Keith Boothby, Dave Brown and Barrie Wilkinson and halved matches were achieved by John Chain and Jack Watson, John Mitchell and Arnold Bennett and Geoff Upsall and Terry Coulter.
The last match of the month was away to Sleaford, who won 5.5-3.5.
Boston’s winners were Arnold Bennett and Brian Curtis, John Mitchell and Keith Boothby, and Dave Brown and Barrie Wilkinson. Brian Taylor and John Clarke halved.
Mike McPhail’s excellent golf won the Captain’s At Home Day with 39 stableford points.
In second was John Pattenden’s 37 points, and third was Trevor Morriss with 36 points.
Nearest the pin on the second hole was John Wade, nearest on the fifth hole was Barrie Wilkinson and, on the eighth hole, Geoff Upsall.
Nearest the pin on the 12th was Jack Eldridge with a very decisive hole in one.
The longest driver was Keith Boothby.
May medal winner Stuart Neadham scored a nett 70.
Second was Arnold Bennett with 73 and third was Gary King with 74.
Fifty members took part in the competition.
