I. Reeson, B. Sansam and W. Phoenix won 20-13 for the Halfpints but a 23-12 reply from J. Powell, D. Smith and R. White gave a 4-2 win for IBC.
Bottom team Freelanders surrendered all six points when playing A40 with wins of 26-10 for J. Gott and 20-11 for S. King.
Jolly Farmers beat Royal Mail 4-2, narrowly missing out on all six as Royal Mail’s K. Thorlby stubbornly hung on to an 18-17 win over J. Moore.
Carlton Road recorded a six point haul against Kirton Town, C. Gill winning 26-14 and L. Feary edging out J. Smith 19-16.
Eastenders took advantage of Holland Fen having a bye to return to the top of the table with a full house six against Invaders. They took rink wins of 28-10 and 29-11.
In T&B Containers Division Two, leaders Punchbowlers took a 6-0 win over Parthians, a 36-10 from C. Bush, M. McNeish and T. Bush coupled with 16-12 from J. Skelton and partners.
Second placed Strollers slipped again and are now six points off the lead after a 4-2 defeat to Breakaways. Doing the damage was a 27-9 from J. Stevens.
The Golfers and Swineshead are keeping pace as they chase the top two down, both turning in 6-0 scores this week, Golfers taking care of Boston Park and Swineshead beating The Crowns.
In mid-table, Amateurs got the better of a close game with Norprint 19-14 and 17-14 for six points and the Feathers edged out Patriarchs 15-13 and 20-16 for a similar six point haul.
Cammacks Division Three leaders Poachers took another six points this week at the expense of Traders, a 29-11 from J. Sellars and a last end 17-16 from M. Dodes sealing the win.
Second placed The Autos recorded rink wins of 29-17 and 23-6 against lowly BBC for six points closely followed by Sibsey who won 27-11 and 18-14 against The Burtons.
Vikings and Central shared the points, a 24-13 from Central’s B. Hunn enough to secure the aggregate points over P. Jacklin’s 18-15.
Closest game of the week was between Shipmates and High Flyers. A 15-14 from High Flyers’ E. Lewis was matched with a 21-20 from Shipmates’ B. Clarke but it needed a last end score of 4 to make a 3-3 draw.
In the Fairways and Hotspurs game the Fairways got the wrong time and turned up late so all six points to Hotspurs.
