Boston ABC’s Nina Bradley was unable to defend her women’s English Women’s National Amateur Boxing Association crown.

The 26-year-old won the 60k 10-fights-and-under title last year, but was forced to withdraw from the finals in Liverpool due to illness.

Bradley was keen to travel but her coaches believed her lack of energy was apparent and withdrew her from the competition.

Last week The Standard stated Sean Price-Regan lost a previous match due to a disqualification, we have been asked to point out he won by knockout.
