Carl’s on the Up! Erratic weather helps Boston pigeon fancier

BAD weather at the liberation point, and along the line of flight, delayed the pigeon race from Fraserburgh for local fanciers competing with the North Road Championship Club.

And when the birds were eventually released they were hit by more bad weather.

As a result, returns were erratic, but there was a particularly good performance by a bird racing to the loft of Carl Upsall.

It was the first into Boston, winner of Boston Central RPC, winner of Section Two in the North Road Championship Club and provisionally fourth open.
