Clarke and Philp prepare for the challenge of Brands

draperRACING riders Aaron Clarke and Tommy Philp are busy preparing for their assault on round three of their respective championships that take place at Brands Hatch on the short Indy circuit at the weekend.

Kirton rider Clarke is riding on the crest of a wave after securing his first points finish at Oulton Park in the last round, and is full of confidence he can replicate that at Brands Hatch in the Superstock 600 championship.

Philp, from East Kirkby, also had a good weekend at Oulton in the British Supersport championship - and he too is confident he can pull another couple of points finishes out of the bag at Brands Hatch.

The stock 600 free practice is the first to test the short Indy circuit at Brands at 9am on Friday followed by the first qualifying session ant 1.25pm final qualifying takes place on Saturday at 12.10pm and there is a short warm up on Sunday morning at 10.10am ahead of the 22 lap race at 11.35am.

The British Supersport free practice is on Friday the first at 9.35am, followed by the final session at 2pm.

Qualifying takes place on Saturday at 10.55am with the results setting the grid positions for the start of the 18 lap sprint race at 3.10pm.

They too have a warm up on Sunday morning at 11.13am and the 26 lap feature race is set to start at 3.35pm on Sunday.
