Aaron Clarke is hoping for a strong showing in his race at Thruxton at the weekend - in round eight of the Nation Superstock 600 championship.
And after recording a finish in 31st place at Brands Hatch last time out he will be looking to move further forward into the top 30 this time around.
The Kirton-based rider is making progress now as, at the beginning of the year, he struggled to even qualify for his races in the highly competitive class.
Clarke (pictured) is making small steps forward with each outing and is aiming for the top 20 by the end of the year.
Free practice is at 9am on Friday, followed by the first qualifying session at 1.15pm the same day.
Final qualifying is on Saturday at 12.20pm and there is a short warm-up session on Sunday morning ahead of the 14-lap race that takes place at 2.15pm.
