Clarke’s back on his bike

Following his spectacular crash at Snetterton, it’s back to business for Aaron Clarke when he travels to Knockhill in Scotland for the next round of the National Superstock 600 championship.

But for the crash last time out, Clarke would have been looking at a top-20 finish at the Norfolk circuit - but he caught a clump of grass left on the asphalt by another rider and went head long over the top of his bike.

Being his first time at Knockhill, Kirton’s Clarke will have to make the most of his time on track in the free practice and qualifying sessions to learn his way around the circuit.

But he is a quick learner and will soon be on the pace, he hopes.

There is a free practice session on Friday at 11.05am followed by first qualifying at 4.15pm.

Saturday sees him back out on track for final qualifying at noon, which will set the grid for the following day’s 22 lap race.
