Boston Wheelers Cycling Club have been handed the Clubmark Award.
They were handed the accolade - which shows that a club is providing sport in the correct environment - at their presentation evening by Anthony Gill, development manager for British Cycling East Midlands.
He said: “The Clubmark award shows that Boston Wheelers provides the right environment which ensures the welfare of members.
“Boston Wheelers had presented the most comprehensive evidence yet seen, and in record time. Boston Wheelers will go from strength to strength”.
The Wheelers have grown considerably over the past 12 months and take part in many aspects of cycling, including sportives, mountain biking, grass track, cyclo cross, time trial and road racing.
Their Go-Ride sessions, for young people under the age of 16, is continuing to grow.
In the new year, they will start in a new indoor venture at the Princess Royal Sports Arena, as well as starting social sessions, including women-only sessions.
