Coulter feels At Home at Boston West GC

Terry Coulter won the At Home competition for seniors at Boston West Golf Club.

The traffic lights stableford competition saw Coulter triumph with 43 points.

Nearest the pins were P. Whyers, K. Steele, B. Wilkinson, T. Beebe and R. King.

The over 75s prizes went to H. Maddy and B. Mees.

R. Roberts won the driving contest and J. Eldridge won the putting event.

Waltz competition winners were R. Elms, R. Twigg and B. Curtis with 41 points.

The Monthly Medal was won by Terry Coulter, ahead of runner-up R. Elms, third-placed G. Morgan and R. Twigg in fourth, all with 69 points.

The winners of the Texas Scramble were S. Pikett, G. Morgan and E. Hunt with a nett 59.6.

The seniors suffered a 7-1 defeat at Blankney, with J. Pattenden and T. Morris as Boston West’s only winning pair.

Playing away to Sleaford, the Boston West team lost 5.5-2.5. Winning pairs were B. Wilkinson with S. Pikett and G. King with T. Coulter.

S. Needham and A. Bennett halved their match.
