Dave Coupland is turning his attention to the final round of the European Tour’s qualifying school.

The Boston golfer will look to book his place at the continent’s top table when he competes at the PGA Catalunya Resort in Spain for five days, beginning on Saturday.

The top 25 finishers will earn their European Tour cards, while Coupland’s Challenge Tour ranking should already see him qualify for a few European Tour rounds in 2015.

Coupland has earned his place in the final round after a fantastic debut year on the Challenge Tour, where he finished 39th in the rankings and 546th in the official World Golf Rankings.

He completed his season on Saturday, finishing in joint 38th place at the Dubai Festival City Challenge Grand Final.

At Al Badia Golf Club, Coupland shot a round of 71 on Wednesday.

That was his best round on the par 72 course, carding 76, 74 and 74 over the next three days to complte the four rounds on +7, level with Germany’s Moritz Lampert, both golfers pocketing 2,398 Euros.
