Madeline Verdegaal got her road racing season back on track this week, with a strong top 10 finish at round one of Behind the BikeShed Series at Thruxton Race Circuit.

Velo One rider Madeline’s focus now shifts to this Sunday as she prepares for the Women’s Lincoln Grand Prix.

A full 140 rider field and a equal prize fund of £4,800 promises to deliver good racing.

Tuesday was the start of the Boston Wheelers 10-Mile TT League.

A grippy A52 course to Swineshead roundabout and back saw V1 riders Neil Palmer and Antony Gough posting the first and second fastest times on the night with 21 mins 55 secs and 22 mins 30 secs respectively.

Solid times were also delivered by Dan Carr (24 mins 15 secs/fourth) and Earl Taylor (24 mins 22 secs/fifth).

The evening was marred by a bike mechanical causing V1 rider Nick Millward to crash.

Nick broke his collarbone in the accident, requiring surgery to repair.
