A team from Boston Golf Club’s Ladies’ Section competed in a match at Louth on Monday.
The mixture of a challenging course and strong opposition resulted in the hosts winning all four matches.
The ladies’ competition this week was a singles stableford, the winners hoping to go forward to the England Golf Trust Stableford Competition, combining the scores of the best silver and bronze players.
Chris Sherriff (bronze) won the overall competition with 35 points.
Anne Hodgson (silver) was second with 34 points.
Their combined scores will be put forward for selection.
Pam King came in third with 33 points, a point ahead of Ruth Simpson.
The nine hole competition was won by Gloria Tryner.
