Defending snooker champs begin new season with victory

In the Boston Snooker League, the Snooker Farm Super League began with good wins for last year’s top two teams.

A new-look BSC 1 won 7-1 against BSC 3 as Craig Fitter started proceedings with a comfortable win over C. Ellis.

Bren Bowman made it 4-0 with an impressive win over Neil Hutson, Wayne Dent took it to 6-0 with a win over N. Robinson and Andy Swan stopped the rot, drawing with Sean Swinburn.

Shodfriars 20 beat BSC 9 by the same margin, Darren Christian beating Carl Manning, Tom Hill and Paul Raymond drawing.

Carl Rowe beat Rob Johnson and Daley Richardson finishing the match with a 2-0 againstMark Ferguson.

BSC 13 made a good start to the season with a 5-3 win over BSC 2.

Adam Brackenbury started proceedings with a solid win over Lee Ford and Patrick Whiley made it 4-0 with a win over G.Charlton.

Grant Marshall pulled two back by beating Adam Cartwright, before M. Richards and D.Himsworth drew.
