Good Fellowship earned a good 63-36 win at home to Wrangle B in the Coningsby Bowls League’s Jubilee Cup.

They will now face Mareham le Fen, who beat Castle 50-44.

Friskney A won well on two rinks to beat Kirton A 50-60 while Billinghay won at home to Jubilee Park 40-33 in a rain-affected game.

They will play away to West End B, who won away at Heckington 49-53.

As to be expected, the Forbes Road A and Sleaford Road A contest was close, with the former sneaking it 56-54.

In the Fred Powell Trophy, Freiston failed to turn up for their game at Wigtoft, and the home side will now go on to play away at Bicker.

Burton House won on two rinks at home to Woodhall Nymphs, but lost the third and the game to an 8-22 finish by J. Curtis, P. Newton and J. Girling.

Woodhall Nymphs will play away to BBC I in the next round.

BBC I won at home to Swineshead, 53-41.

A good win by the home rink of John Potter, John Coton and Trevor Williams saw Donington II home 49-44 against West End A.

They will play Sleaford Road II at home in the next round following their 57-28 success against Wrangle A.

In Division Two, Woodhall Spartans out-bowled Sibsey Strollers on two rinks.

However, Alan Dunnett and his rink pulled one back 15-21 to give a score of 78-32 (6-2).

The Sibsey Millers rinks, skipped by Sue and Dave Bridges, won well at home to Heckington.

Their opponents won the third to go down 56-38 (6-2).
