Another name will be added to the Stark family banger racing dynasty this weekend.

Sixteen-year-old Jorji Stark will compete in the adult formulas for the first time.

He is making the step up following an accomplished career in junior racing.

Stark will race in the 1,500cc Bangers alongside elder siblings Lloyd, Liam and Lewis.

He will be in action at King’s Lynn’s Norfolk Arena.

Lewis scored a race win in his last outing at King’s Lynn which, combined with some other consistent results, leaves him third in the early-season points standings.

Fifth brother Lyndon has also been a regular on the short oval raceways.

And the family name goes back even further than that.

Dad Shaun’s career included a National Points championship in Banger Rods, racing largely at King’s Lynn and Skegness.

Fellow Boston racers Luke Rowland, Scott Taylor and Lloyd Fish will also take to the track in the all-action Bangers.

There they will be entertaining the crowd in a discipline where crashing is as much the name of the game as racing for wins.

Also on the bill are the mighty Two-Litre Saloon Stock Cars.

And there will also be the first visit to the track of 2014 for the Junior Bangers and Lady Bangers.

Boston-based Amy Brown returns to racing in the latter category and will be looking to reproduce the form that has taken her to multiple championships in the past.

Racing begins at the Norfolk Arena at 6pm.
